8. Restart Policy

The Alpha Level Programme consists of three (3) semesters of twelve (12) weeks each.

Students are expected to complete the programme according to their allocated intake schedule.

If a student withdraws, stops attending, is removed from the programme, or fails to complete the programme and subsequently wishes to restart, the student must re-enrol by paying the applicable Restart Fee.

The Restart Fee shall be calculated based on the prevailing programme fee at the time the restart request is made.

Each semester represents one-third (1/3) of the prevailing programme fee.

Restart Fees are calculated as follows:

Semester 1

Where the student did not complete Semester 1:

Restart Fee:
One-third (1/3) of the prevailing programme fee.

Semester 2

Where the student completed or partially completed Semester 2:

Restart Fee:
Two-thirds (2/3) of the prevailing programme fee.

Semester 3

Where the student completed or partially completed Semester 3:

Restart Fee:
One hundred percent (100%) of the prevailing programme fee.

For the avoidance of doubt:

Any attendance or participation in a semester shall be deemed as that semester having commenced.
Attendance at any part of a semester shall constitute completion of that semester for Restart Fee calculation purposes.
Restart Fees must be fully paid before a new class or intake will be allocated.
Restart Fees are strictly non-refundable.
Junior Mandarin Academy will provide a new set of learning materials upon restart.
Previously supplied materials shall not be deducted, credited, exchanged or offset against the Restart Fee.
Restart requests are subject to seat availability and the Academy's prevailing intake schedule.
Junior Mandarin Academy reserves the sole right to approve or decline any restart request.
9. Academy's Right to Terminate

Junior Mandarin Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student's enrolment immediately if the student or Parent/Guardian:

Breaches these Terms & Conditions;
Behaves in a disruptive, abusive, threatening or inappropriate manner;
Harasses, intimidates or threatens Academy staff, teachers or other students;
Repeatedly refuses to cooperate with the Academy;
Commits any act that, in the Academy's reasonable opinion, affects the welfare, safety or learning environment of staff or students.
